Be Bold. Be Ready. Stand for JESUS.

“...Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:14-16

Now more than ever, I feel the need to be outspoken about my faith in JESUS CHRIST. What I saw in Charlie Kirk was someone with a deep conviction to share the gospel and stand firmly for what he believed in. He found a way to do that—respectfully and boldly. He exercised his rights with kindness and grace.

What happened to him is beyond heartbreaking. And yet, in the midst of this tragedy, I’ve seen more people standing up and waking up to the reality of what’s going on. What Charlie stood for and represented was unmistakably clear. I’m grateful that so many are now willing to stand up for JESUS in response to this deeply sad event.

Now is not the time to stay silent or shrink back in fear, but to rise up for truth—real truth, which is found in JESUS. That doesn’t mean forcing beliefs on others, but being unashamedly ready to give an answer for the hope we profess.

Charlie Kirk’s life—and now his death—are truly a Turning Point. Thank you, Charlie, for showing this generation what it means to be brave, to stand for the gospel, and for doing it so brilliantly, humbly, and effectively. You have finished your race. Now may we continue ours!

Enjoy Your Life!

Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. God keeps such people so busy enjoying life that they take no time to brood over the past. (Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 NLT) If I'm honest I've been struggling to enjoy this beautiful life GOD has given me. The last few years or so have been pretty rough! But in the midst of it all, I have seen the goodness of the LORD! I think my problem is that I'm a processor and tend to get in my head a little too much. If I'm not careful I'll take up residence there for way too long. God has recently given me a task—an assignment—and I truly believe it's HIS sweet mercy that has led me to it. It's right up my alley! Honestly, I never thought I’d embark on this kind of adventure if it was just something I wanted to do, only because I didn’t want it to be self-serving. But in HIS kindness, HE’s given me the green light—permission, desire, and full blessing—to move forward. It’s like HE knew I needed something both fun and purposeful to pour my heart into. If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you’ll know I’m going through a bit of a healing process. Life hits hard sometimes, but GOD is always with us.
